1. Who you are buying from
The X1 electric scooter is sold by Alexandre Rizzo, a French sole trader trading as VOLTAN, SIRET 753 441 831 00017, 12 avenue du Général de Gaulle, 13700 Marignane, France. Questions, warranty claims and returns: contact@voltanfrance.fr.
2. Price
The launch price of the X1 is $90, in US dollars, through September 30, 2026, while supplies last. The regular price after the offer is $399. The price shown before payment is the amount charged, once. There is no subscription and no later charge.
Shipping within the United States is free and included. Sales tax, where it applies, is shown before payment. Nothing is due to the carrier on delivery.
3. Ordering and payment
Your order is accepted when the payment clears and we send you a confirmation email. Payment is taken on a secure payment page: we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay, and we never see or store your card number.
If we cannot ship your order, we cancel it and refund you in full. We are not obliged to sell at an obviously wrong price caused by a display error, and in that case we cancel and refund rather than ship.
4. Shipping
Free shipping to the 50 states. Orders ship from our US warehouse within one business day and arrive in 2–5 business days, tracked. The tracking number is sent by email and text as soon as the box leaves. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. See shipping and returns for the detail.
5. Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to return the X1 for a full refund. The return shipping is on us: we email you a prepaid label. No reason is required. The scooter must come back complete and in a condition that allows resale, so keep the original box for those 30 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within five business days of the scooter reaching us.
6. Warranty
The X1 carries a 2-year warranty on parts and labor against manufacturing defects, from the delivery date, handled by the same workshop as the French site. It does not cover wear items (tires, brake pads, grips), damage from a crash, misuse, modification, or submersion. The battery is covered for one year against defects; a normal loss of capacity over time is not a defect.
Nothing here limits the rights your state's consumer law gives you.
7. Where you may ride
E-scooter rules vary by state: most allow them up to 15–20 mph. The X1 is limited to 15.5 mph — check your local rules before riding. City rules on sidewalks, bike lanes and helmets are set locally and are not the same everywhere. Checking the rules that apply where you ride is your responsibility. See state e-scooter rules.
The X1 is intended for riders 16 and over, up to 265 lbs, one rider at a time.
8. Liability
We are responsible for the scooter being what we describe and for honoring the warranty and the return window. We are not responsible for losses caused by riding in a way that breaks local rules, riding without the protective equipment your state requires, or modifying the scooter.
9. Problems, and the law that applies
Write to contact@voltanfrance.fr first: most problems are settled within a day or two, and we would rather fix an order than argue about it. These terms are governed by French law, since that is where the seller is established, without affecting the consumer protections of the state where you live.
