Are there hidden fees?
No. $90 total, shipped free anywhere in the 50 states. The amount shown before payment is the amount charged, once. No subscription, no later charge, nothing due to the driver.
Why $90 and not $399?
It is a launch offer, limited to September 30, 2026. VOLTAN sells direct online, with no store and no dealer network. We make nothing on these first units — we accept that in order to launch the brand and collect real reviews. After the offer the X1 goes back to $399.
What if it is not for me?
You have thirty days from delivery. The return is on us, the refund is in full, and you do not have to give a reason. We email you a prepaid label and you never pay shipping.
How long until it arrives?
2 to 5 business days from our US warehouse, tracked. You get the tracking number by email and text as soon as it ships.
Can I legally ride it where I live?
E-scooter rules vary by state: most allow them up to 15–20 mph. The X1 is limited to 15.5 mph — check your local rules before riding. Cities set their own sidewalk rules and some require a helmet under a certain age. We tell you this before you buy, not after.
Who is selling this, and where do returns go?
VOLTAN is the trading name of a French sole trader, Alexandre Rizzo, registered under SIRET 753 441 831 00017 at 12 avenue du Général de Gaulle, 13700 Marignane, France. You are billed in US dollars. Write to contact@voltanfrance.fr and we email you a prepaid label — the return is collected at our expense, you never pay shipping.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Yes, the IPX5 rating covers rain and spray. Do not ride through a deep puddle and never submerge it.
