The short version
We collect what an order needs and what tells us which ad brought it in. We do not sell your data for money. You can switch off advertising and measurement cookies at any time with the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer of the home page, and you can ask us to delete what we hold by writing to contact@voltanfrance.fr.
1. What we collect, and why
- Your email and phone number — to confirm the order, send tracking, and reach you if delivery goes wrong.
- Your shipping address — to ship the scooter. Collected after payment, on the confirmation page.
- Your order — what you bought, when, for how much, and its delivery status.
- Advertising identifiers in the link you arrived on
(
fbclid,ttclid,gclid) and measurement cookies — to know which ad produced an order.
We never receive your card number: it is entered on the payment provider's page and stays with them.
2. Who else sees it
- Our payment provider — to take the payment and handle refunds.
- The carrier — name, address and phone, to deliver the box.
- Klaviyo — to send order emails and, if you asked for it, the guide.
- Meta, TikTok and Google — measurement events, so we know which ad worked. These stop entirely once you use the opt-out link.
- Vercel — hosting.
Nobody buys this data from us, and we do not rent a mailing list to anyone.
3. How long we keep it
Order records: seven years, because tax records have to be kept. Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe, which is one click at the bottom of every email. Measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
4. Your California rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, the right to a copy of it, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently for using any of them.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sending measurement events to Meta, TikTok and Google for advertising does count as sharing under California law, so we give you a plain way to stop it:
- Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer of the home page. It takes effect on that browser immediately, and it sticks.
- Or email contact@voltanfrance.fr with the subject Do Not Sell or Share. We answer within 45 days, usually the same week.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as an opt-out.
Residents of other states with a privacy law — Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and others — have equivalent rights and can use the same two routes.
5. Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to us and we delete it.

Because the seller is established in France, your data is also covered by the GDPR, which sits on top of the state rights above and never below them.
