The short version
We collect what an order needs and what tells us which ad brought it in. We never sell your data. Advertising and measurement cookies are only set if you press Accept on the banner, and refusing costs you nothing on this site. To see, correct or delete what we hold, write to hello@voltanfrance.com.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is ISARDI LTD, Company No. 17398968, registered in England — hello@voltanfrance.com.
2. What we collect, why, and on what basis
- Your email and phone number — to confirm the order, send tracking and reach you if delivery goes wrong. Lawful basis: performance of the contract.
- Your delivery address — to deliver the scooter. Collected after payment, on the confirmation page. Performance of the contract.
- Your order — what you bought, when, for how much, and its delivery status. Contract, then legal obligation for the accounting record.
- Advertising identifiers in the link you arrived on
(
fbclid, ttclid, gclid) and measurement cookies — to know which ad produced an order. Lawful basis: your consent, given on the banner and withdrawable at any time.
We never receive your card number: it is entered on SumUp's page and stays with them.
3. Cookies
Under PECR, non-essential cookies cannot be set before you agree. Nothing loads until you choose on the banner, refusing is one click, and your choice is stored on your own browser. Clear your site data to be asked again.
4. Who else sees it
- SumUp — to take the payment and handle refunds.
- The courier — name, address and phone, to deliver the parcel.
- Klaviyo — to send order emails and, if you asked for it, the guide.
- Meta, TikTok and Google — measurement events, only if you accepted.
- Vercel — hosting.
Some of these providers are outside the UK. Transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or on adequacy, depending on the provider.
5. How long we keep it
Order records: six years, because accounting records have to be kept. Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe, which is one click at the bottom of every email. Measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to be told what we hold and why, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent for measurement cookies at any time. Using any of them costs you nothing and changes nothing about your order.
Write to hello@voltanfrance.com. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113), and we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
7. Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to us and we delete it.
